9 – Newsletters

9<<< 10 – Conform or Confirm Earlier in the year in the blog, we would offer weekly updates that represented both catholic youth ministry news in general as well as personal. In the end, it became a challenge to maintain.

At the same time, I opted to follow Patrick Donovan’s example in Wilmington and commit to writing am weekly e-letter to our parish youth ministers and our school campus ministers.  This was meant to fill in the gaps of the off weeks of our every-three-week newsletter that had a larger mailing list. In the fall, we transferred all the works over to Vertical Response.

Anyway, the e-mails make for nice posts… keeping twominsyou updated with what’s occurring in the ArchBalt as well as always providing some worthy hyperlinks and the end of each newsletter,  You can get your own impression within the onthewayNewsletter category page.

I’m proud of the e-newsletter as they are part of a commitment towards communication and  transparency. 8 – The Talkies >>>

D. Scott Miller is the dean of Catholic Youth Ministry bloggers which is a polite way of either saying that he is just plain old or has been blogging for a long time (since 2004.)

Scott recently married the lovely Anne and together they have five adult young people and also grandparent three delightful kids (so, maybe he is just plain old!) Scott presently serves at Saint John the Evangelist in Columbia, MD as the director of youth and young adult ministry.
