<< (7) Scrutinizing the Signs <<
This was not something so much related to a blog posting here on this site (although it was occasional reported upon the the CYM news and set up here.) And, it’s funny, because every now and then, there will be a nay-sayer suggesting that blogging is passé in today’s technology.
But, for me, blogging has pushed me to learn about audio taping and pod-casting.
It has be an avenue for practicing and experimenting with video, editing, and on-line training, and so much more.
As an event related to this blog, RebuildmyChurch.org was another horizon reached in utilizing technology on behalf of the field. Frankly, it is one of my proudest accomplishments over this past year, and, I hope, just that starting point for so much more!
(FYI- as the banner indicates above,we will be posting up the individual segments here on this site in the new year!)

D. Scott Miller
D. Scott Miller is the dean of Catholic Youth Ministry bloggers which is a polite way of either saying that he is just plain old or has been blogging for a long time (since 2004.)
Scott recently married the lovely Anne and together they have five adult young people and also grandparent three delightful kids (so, maybe he is just plain old!) Scott presently serves at Saint John the Evangelist in Columbia, MD as the director of youth and young adult ministry.
He has previously served on the parish, regional, diocesan, and national levels as well as having taught within a catholic high school. He is one of the founders of RebuildMyChurch and has returned to posting regularly (keeping regular is important to old guys) at ProjectYM.
