BOB18: What We Do

18As we wrap up our ninth year of blogging, we are offering a retrospective of the best 20 things that I have most treasured about the blog. Here is #18.

One of my favorite posts over the past few months was It is What We Do.  The post started out:

Recently, I was asked to prepare a brief report about what we do in our office to be shared with our Archbishop. After completing it, I was full of pride of the accomplishments of our office staff and decided to just share it with you as well.

Lots of times in the blog, I would share about a specific program or meeting.  We made videos available from our September Youth Contact Meetings or late January (therefore posted early February) John Bosco days.. feel free to use the search button or the Archives link above to find those.

I am always proud of all that we accomplish here and the ArchBalt and happily share them along with you. Feel free to review all that We Do.

D. Scott Miller

D. Scott Miller is the dean of Catholic Youth Ministry bloggers which is a polite way of either saying that he is just plain old or has been blogging for a long time (since 2004.)

Scott recently married the lovely Anne and together they have five adult young people and also grandparent three delightful kids (so, maybe he is just plain old!) Scott presently serves at Saint John the Evangelist in Columbia, MD as the director of youth and young adult ministry.

He has previously served on the parish, regional, diocesan, and national levels as well as having taught within a catholic high school. He is one of the founders of RebuildMyChurch and has returned to posting regularly (keeping regular is important to old guys) at ProjectYM.
