Certifiable

You are certifiable. I know, you are in youth ministry and this is probably not the first time that someone has told you that… Today.

But, for the Youth Ministry Leader or Diocesan Youth Ministry Leader (including within Pastoral Juvenil Hispania,) there is now a process of authorizing lay ecclesial ministers for ministry in the church. It is designed only to assess and acknowledge the competence of you as a lay ecclesial minister.

Why do this?
>> Affirmation & Credibility: Get some acknowledgement for your pastoral and professional competence in ministry relative to national standards.
>> Identity & Connection: Go beyond you being just another nice person hanging with the kids and embrace a professional identity.
>> Portable Credential: Having a nationally recognized credential can assist you in securing a new ministry position if you should choose to relocate.
>> Development of Your Field:  Help raise the bar for the flied in building of a “culture of competence” in lay ecclesial ministry.

Check it out. You’d be certifiably crazy to ignore this opportunity. <imager source>
