News from ‘Round Here: Last Monday, went NOTHING at all like I expected. I had difficulty with video editing, I was swept up into a meeting and a lunch that, while expected, still did a little havoc to my to-do list, as it grew rather than shrank throughout the day. Last week, my efforts were to chill my way towards NCYC and vacation… I was losing that mojo at the beginning of the week. Nonetheless, I held to my commitment to get out and catch a later afternoon movie. Tuesday started off with a brief DYYAM staff meeting, and (a highlight) a sending forth prayer by the e-team. Likewise, I got out at a reasonable time in the later afternoon (it was becoming a good habit) Wednesday involved packing bags before commuting to the office for an early morning radio interview. The rest of the day was desk clearing and then off to the NCYC bus. You can read the blog postings on the rest of the week, and I am still back-dating. We returned on Sunday. I went home and showered for a very long time. Some clothes into the washer and then dressed for the day rather than take a nap. I was in the office to address receipts as send some thank you e-mails. I was home as the Ravens were winning their game and napping very soon after that. |
