Over Thanksgiving, I read (actually listened to the audio book) of Malcolm Gladwell’s Outliers” The Story of Success. in it, he put forth the theory that it takes 10,000 hours of practice to become “great” at something.
While we have shown this video before on the blog, think of the hours of effort put into both the performance of music and presentation here. Add Gladwell’s insistence on time to Zander’s call on “one-buttock playing,” and here is a little gift of encouragement to you in your ministry.
Put the time and the effort into all you do next year, as we all continue the Year of Faith, and you can freely do the Work of an Evangelist! Be someone who empowers the shiny-eyed among us.
