Here’s a great YouTube video to use with young people. I originally saw on the blog of this blog’s chaplain, Fr. Austin.
Like everyone else, I have days where the interruption mount up and get in the way of what I had originally intended. Here is Lukáš Kmiť playing the viola in an Orthodox Jewish synagogue in Presov, Slovakia.
And the interruption happens.
Now, it is not often that a classical musician shows a jazz player’s sensibilities, but he just goes with it. There is no offense taken, no violation cited, he just shows grace and goes with it.
Hebrews 13:2 encourages us to “Do not neglect hospitality, for through it some have unknowingly entertained angels.”
May God bless you with an interruption or two this day, and, may the Spirit offer you enough grace to welcome and entertain it.
