We discussed the movie The Way staring Martin Sheen and directed by his son, Emilio Estevez, in both October and November.
It is a movie that explores spiritual themes amidst the lovely back drop of the El Camino de Santiago, the Way of St. James. This is an ancient route from the Pyrenees in southern France, across northern Spain, through Galicia to the Atlantic Ocean. The Way ‘ends’ at the tomb of the Apostle St. James the Greater located inside the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela (Field of Stars).
Now, be advised that The Way is available today on video-on-demand February 9, and will be available in stores on Feb. 21. It is worth the watch. Grab some adult friends for a viewing party.
