If you are travelling to Orlando for the NCCYM , you should plan on get your power networking on Friday, November 30th at 12:30pm.

Bus on over to the Bahama Breeze – you’ll feel like you’ve escaped to the Caribbean! There you will get dome great eats as well as some wonderful conversation with Brandon Vogt, ReBuild’s Tony Vasinda and Michael Marchand, Youth Ministry tweet-lebrity Alison Griswold, and Chris Bartlett. For $20, you get the conversation, the bus ride, and Beef Empanadas, Firecracker Shrimp, Spinach Artichoke Dip, Jamaican Grilled Wings, Conch Fritters, Coconut Shrimp, Chicken and Vegetable Quesadillas, and more! We promise you won’t go hungry!

You can purchase a ticket on line or at the eCatholic booth in the Resource Expo at NCCYM to pick up your ticket!

D. Scott Miller

D. Scott Miller is the dean of Catholic Youth Ministry bloggers which is a polite way of either saying that he is just plain old or has been blogging for a long time (since 2004.)

Scott recently married the lovely Anne and together they have five adult young people and also grandparent three delightful kids (so, maybe he is just plain old!) Scott presently serves at Saint John the Evangelist in Columbia, MD as the director of youth and young adult ministry.

He has previously served on the parish, regional, diocesan, and national levels as well as having taught within a catholic high school. He is one of the founders of RebuildMyChurch and has returned to posting regularly (keeping regular is important to old guys) at ProjectYM.
