How Your Parish Can Reach 2,000 Teens in Uganda

What if your parish could reach 2,000 teens on the other side of the planet?  What if you could share Christ with them?  Give them an opportunity to encounter the Lord and grow in their faith?  What if you could give them the opportunity to experience the beauty and passion of the Church in a way they never thought possible? If I told you that you could, would you jump on the opportunity? This summer, I’m leading a team to Uganda for an incredible youth conference in the Diocese of Masaka.  The team there is expecting 2,000 teens to show up for the event — some of whom walk for hours just to be there.  The four-day event takes place in a boarding school and includes engaging sessions, spirit-filled worship, Mass each day, reconciliation, adoration, small group discussions plus room and board for the thousands of participants and volunteers.

I was there for the event last year, and believe me when I tell you that it was incredible to witness the power of God moving in the young Church there. We’re trying to partner with 100 parishes willing to commit at least $100 to this mission.  As a sponsoring parish, you’ll be able to send a video or photo greeting from your teens to the teens in Uganda attending the conference.
