ReBuild Armando Cervantes

Armando Cervantes is the coordinator for Youth & Young Adult Ministry in the diocese of Orange, California.  (That means Mickey Mouse falls under his spiritual responsibilities!)

Utilizing the languages of our US church (both Spanish and English,) he challenges us regarding how we Think, Judge, and Act

Which or Armando’s 4 steps do you think sounds the hardest? What is one assumption that you had in ministry that you have had to let go of? What are some of the things you are questioning in your ministry (or our field) right now? What is a passion or hobby that you have, that has fed your ministry in surprising ways? What is your shared space? Who helps you judge? If you have gone through these steps… What do you need to rebuild?

Please plan to attend a brand new broadcast of Rebuild My Church on November 6.

D. Scott Miller

D. Scott Miller is the dean of Catholic Youth Ministry bloggers which is a polite way of either saying that he is just plain old or has been blogging for a long time (since 2004.)

Scott recently married the lovely Anne and together they have five adult young people and also grandparent three delightful kids (so, maybe he is just plain old!) Scott presently serves at Saint John the Evangelist in Columbia, MD as the director of youth and young adult ministry.

He has previously served on the parish, regional, diocesan, and national levels as well as having taught within a catholic high school. He is one of the founders of RebuildMyChurch and has returned to posting regularly (keeping regular is important to old guys) at ProjectYM.
