This post is gonna be stuck up-top on the blog for a while. More recent posts will appear below.
Here it comes again.. an online youth ministry training event called re:Build. At it’s core it is an online youth ministry conference with 7 speakers presenting about how we need to rework, rethink, or rebuild the way we are doing youth ministry to better share Christ with young people.
We have a global set of speakers and a global audience so we do the event live twice once in the 12pm and again at 7pm (both central). The event can be watched on any computer, tablet device, and most smart phones from anywhere. We also archive footage so that youth ministers are able to use the trainings in future volunteer of professional development events. This concept is continually growing and evolving just like the young people we serve so let us know if there is anything we can ever do for you. Check out RebuildMyChurch.org for more details, Meanwhile, could you please…
1. Join us on Nov 6th if you are able.
2. We would love to have you share the event with your partners in ministry. Hit the buttons below to facebook this info, twitter this, or e-mail it
3. We would love to have you consider youth ministers, priest, and in you diocese who would be good presenters at upcoming re:Build events and let us know who they are. Don’t be humble this includes you.

D. Scott Miller is the dean of Catholic Youth Ministry bloggers which is a polite way of either saying that he is just plain old or has been blogging for a long time (since 2004.)
Scott recently married the lovely Anne and together they have five adult young people and also grandparent three delightful kids (so, maybe he is just plain old!) Scott presently serves at Saint John the Evangelist in Columbia, MD as the director of youth and young adult ministry.
He has previously served on the parish, regional, diocesan, and national levels as well as having taught within a catholic high school. He is one of the founders of RebuildMyChurch and has returned to posting regularly (keeping regular is important to old guys) at ProjectYM.
