Social Media in Ministry

All ministry leaders know that marketing and communication is a piece of the work we do. One avenue that many ministry leaders have turned to is social media. Social media can be a valuable tool for our ministry, but how much of an impact does it have? What are the real and perceived benefits of social media usage in my ministry?

In this video, Seth Godin speaks to the above questions. Although this is a business forum he is speaking to, his comments highlight some very important ministry aspects in using social media.

John is also an adjunct professor at Santa Clara University teaching pastoral ministry courses to graduate students.
