It has often been suggested that technology and the internet have made the world smaller. Well, a recent discovery on that same internet now leads me to believe that the universe suddenly got smaller.
Here is Canadian astronaut, Cmdr. Chris Hadfield, his country’s most experienced astronaut, first Canuck to walk in space and a veteran of two Shuttle missions.
Since just before Christmas, however, he has been back in space in the International Space Station, twittering up a storm, and now is singing with the Barenaked Ladies and a glee choir from Toronto’s Wexford Collegiate School for the Arts. Check it out.
And the question stands… In serving young people where all this is possible and almost seemingly commonplace, where are we as church in fully utilizing technology in service to our New Evangelization?
