Top Posts of 2012

Picture1Starting on Monday, we will follow our usual year-ending procedure of reviewing what the author perceives as the top posts of the year. In previous years, we have had the assistance of a site meter, but that punked out sometime over the summer… so you 302719_548924954272_1848875037_nare getting the posts that mostly influenced me the most or I considered an important contribution to our conversation.

Over the past years, I have used the Thanksgiving break to develop the list.  This sets up a blog queue that allows the blog to run itself over the ramp up to the holidays.

Meanwhile, in reviewing the list, I realized that, since she was born in July, I have barely inflicted upon you enough pictures of my precious grand-daughter… so let’s rectify that situation! (Click on the image if you can stand the cuteness!)  10. Confirm or Conform >>

UPDATE: After drafting the top ten list, I was able to reinstall the site meter (finally!)  So, acknowledging that it was broke for a significant portion of the year, let’s consider this list with the same confidence of NFL replacement referees, ok?

D. Scott Miller

D. Scott Miller is the dean of Catholic Youth Ministry bloggers which is a polite way of either saying that he is just plain old or has been blogging for a long time (since 2004.)

Scott recently married the lovely Anne and together they have five adult young people and also grandparent three delightful kids (so, maybe he is just plain old!) Scott presently serves at Saint John the Evangelist in Columbia, MD as the director of youth and young adult ministry.

He has previously served on the parish, regional, diocesan, and national levels as well as having taught within a catholic high school. He is one of the founders of RebuildMyChurch and has returned to posting regularly (keeping regular is important to old guys) at ProjectYM.
