NEWSLETTER
It was Thursday yesterday and we did not send out a newsletter. We were swamped with counting and packaging everything that goes along with 1300 Youth Rally and Mass for Life tickets.
We are still attempting to discern what is our best e-newsletter format. Do you prefer notes sent to you via Microsoft Outlook (like this one… which some noted messes up the text) or Vertical Response (which some servers block as potential spam)? What has been the experience at your end?
NEWTOWN
The people of Newtown, CT still remain very much on our minds. Consider sending them a note of support via the ArchBalt’s Spiritual Bouquet effort. The youth minister at St. Rose of Lima Church in Newtown had to respond to tragedy locally. Have you given consideration to how you might respond if this was in your back yard?
JOHN BOSCO DAY
The flyer went out to our professional youth contacts yesterday. Please RSVP to [email protected] for this January 31 event.
PILGRIMAGE
We anticipate that the registration information and packet will be out next Thursday. The route has been changed for this year (our 20th walk!) from Sts. Philip and James to the Cathedral of Mary our Queen for the Passion Sunday mass at 4:30pm. A concert with ValLimar Jansen will be at Notre Dame University of Maryland. We will be revisiting some of the best activities of years past as well as offering a few innovations. Begin planning now for the March 23!
