We are offering prayers of thanksgiving for all those being acknowledged tonight at the Annual Recognition Celebration Mass with Bishop Rozanski at St. Agnes Church at 7pm. Further, we are offering prayers of encouragement and support to those from schools and parishes participating in the Navy Seals Challenge Day on Saturday.

Are Your Seniors Heading Off to College?
Please invite your high school seniors who have made plans for college next year to consider signing up for the Newman Connection which will match them up with the college’s campus ministry. Paste this link http://www.newmanconnection.com/connect for your social media connections.

NCYC
We have five young people who have submitted applications to be NCYC Animators on the main stage in Indianapolis. They are all so gifted and talented that we are confident that the Premier See will be well represented! NCYC Registration is now available and please remember that NCYC Scholarship Applications are due by May 3. Our office has to submit them by May 17.

D. Scott Miller

D. Scott Miller is the dean of Catholic Youth Ministry bloggers which is a polite way of either saying that he is just plain old or has been blogging for a long time (since 2004.)

Scott recently married the lovely Anne and together they have five adult young people and also grandparent three delightful kids (so, maybe he is just plain old!) Scott presently serves at Saint John the Evangelist in Columbia, MD as the director of youth and young adult ministry.

He has previously served on the parish, regional, diocesan, and national levels as well as having taught within a catholic high school. He is one of the founders of RebuildMyChurch and has returned to posting regularly (keeping regular is important to old guys) at ProjectYM.
