Youth Contact
The Youth Contact Meeting web-page has now been updated with all the videos and links of the content sessions held over the past two Saturdays. (Margaret’s video is not yet up on the page, but can be found here.)
Our Monopoly theme for these days reminds that youth ministry is never to be the monopoly of one or a few. Renewing the Vision, when speaking of component of Leadership Development calls for both a Coordinating (or Core) Team as well as Program Leaders.
We heard many voices throughout these meetings, including those of four guest remote speakers (which is why Saturday’s participants gathered around some laptop screens above!) We hope that you will share these trainings with your core teams and others in your parish community as we are all called to Go! and make disciples.
Father Hurley
Last night, the father of our Executive Director of the Department of Evangelization Father John Hurley, CSP, John Dominic Hurley, passed away in New York. We ask for your prayers for Father John and his family in their time of sorrow. Eternal rest, grant unto him, O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.
