Lucky Number Nineteen

Exciting news for the community of ProjectYM: YouthMinistry.com (the blog for Group Publishing) has released their annual listing of the top 30 youth ministry blogs and guess who made the list?

Number 19 to be exact. And we’re the only Catholic blog to make the list.

In honor of this moment, we have all put on tuxedos (Katie Prejean and Jenn D’Angelo-Lucovic are particularly rocking their tuxes) and offer these few words:

While we are proud for all the contributors who add content and value to this site, we are also happy for our community of readers, our online webinar participants, and beard balm enthusiasts. Thanks to our moms, spouses, and futures spouses who put  up with our late night blogging as well as … (cue the orchestral get-off-the-stage music) …and we promise to keep trying to improve on this forum for our co-workers in the vineyards.

What other youth ministry blogs do you read? Let us know in the comments below.

D. Scott Miller

D. Scott Miller is the dean of Catholic Youth Ministry bloggers which is a polite way of either saying that he is just plain old or has been blogging for a long time (since 2004.)

Scott recently married the lovely Anne and together they have five adult young people and also grandparent three delightful kids (so, maybe he is just plain old!) Scott presently serves at Saint John the Evangelist in Columbia, MD as the director of youth and young adult ministry.

He has previously served on the parish, regional, diocesan, and national levels as well as having taught within a catholic high school. He is one of the founders of RebuildMyChurch and has returned to posting regularly (keeping regular is important to old guys) at ProjectYM.
