Whatever

Here is a video to use with your young people.

OK, just for the record, being able to ride a unicycle is pretty impressive.

But, wait! Playing the bagpipes is also very impressive… I mean, don’t break them out at my next dinner party, but I’m impressed with anyone’s musical abilities. (I have been known to be able to offer a killer cowbell solo!)

And, yet, having the audacity to combine a Darth Vader costume with a kilt… where that’s deserving of some props as well.

Yet, it all seems a little bit show-y (ya’ think?) when all we are ask to to be able to do whatever.

Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. (Philippians 4:8)

D. Scott Miller

D. Scott Miller is the dean of Catholic Youth Ministry bloggers which is a polite way of either saying that he is just plain old or has been blogging for a long time (since 2004.)

Scott recently married the lovely Anne and together they have five adult young people and also grandparent three delightful kids (so, maybe he is just plain old!) Scott presently serves at Saint John the Evangelist in Columbia, MD as the director of youth and young adult ministry.

He has previously served on the parish, regional, diocesan, and national levels as well as having taught within a catholic high school. He is one of the founders of RebuildMyChurch and has returned to posting regularly (keeping regular is important to old guys) at ProjectYM.
