Wordle Me Home

wordlemehomeWhat I like about word clouds is that it gives you a visual representation of what is important.  The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. For instance,

> The State of the Union this year, when wordle-ed, showed that the most heavily used phrase was “middle-class.”
> If you wordle-ed Paul’s first Letter to the Corinthians 13, the most often used word is love (duh!) but also frequently used is things, child, and know.
> In Benedict’s last general audience, Church was the most popular word followed quickly by God and Lord.

Last month, we wrapped up the release of a draft version of Celebrate Me Home.  This efforts was to discern how to address Spiritual Homelessness, which is becoming epidemic in today’s culture. For us to confront it, the Church must change her paradigms about how we best minister with young people. Taking another look at the Parable of the Lost Son, we can gain
insights about what (or who) all is needed to help the next generation discover a sense of home in their Church.

You can download it all for your own print versions… and therefore, discover for yourself that yes, we are talking about young people and ministry and that faith, parents, Church, and adults all have prominent play in this discussion as well.

Intrigued? If so, here is a reminder invitation to check this all out! (Here’s the download version)
