YOuTH MINISTRY
JUMPSTART

EXPERIENCE

August 10th–13th

CHATTANOOGA, TN

Stop letting the school year just "happen to you".

Every fall, you show up.

The calendar is already filling up. The emails are already coming in. The volunteers need something. The parents have opinions. And somewhere underneath all of that — you had a vision for what this year was going to be.

Jumpstart exists for the version of you that refuses to let another year just happen.

Four days at the Mission Base right at the start of your ministry year, surrounded by a small group of youth ministers who are just as serious about this as you are. You'll do the spiritual work to fill your own tank back up. You'll do the strategic work to get clear on what this year actually needs to look like. And you'll build the kind of relationships that mean you don't have to figure it out alone when October gets hard.

You'll leave with energy. You'll leave with a plan. You'll leave with people.

Most youth ministers spend the first month of the school year reacting. This is your chance to lead it instead.

This one will sell out. It's capped at 12 people and it's the most requested event we've ever announced.

Don't wait on this one.

What's the Rhythm of the Week?

Every day has a loose structure, but we keep it flexible based on what the group needs. Here's the general shape of a typical day:

MORNING

Breakfast together, followed by prayer,
and then conflab sessions

MIDDAY

Community lunch and some time to reflect and recharge for the rest of the day

AFTERNOON

More conflab sessions

EVENING

Out to dinner together,
followed by evening fun!

But since Jumpstart is a brand new ProjectYM Experience, there's bound to be surprises along the way!

What's a conflab?

Conflabs are the heartbeat of what we do here.

They're not lectures. They're not panels. They're collaborative working sessions where your real ministry problems get real solutions — built by the people in the room, for the people in the room.

The conflab model is built on five commitments:

Collaborative

No keynotes, no talking heads. The biggest asset in the room is your team. Conflabs leverage everyone's skills and experience for everyone's benefit.

Creative

Cookie-cutter solutions don't work in ministry. Every conflab creates space for genuine brainstorming and outside-the-box thinking tailored to your specific context.

crowdsourced

Topics come from you. Before the event, we collect what you actually want to talk about and build the sessions around that. Nothing is preset.
Everything is relevant.

COMMUNITY ORIENTED

We use conflabs to build trust and camaraderie alongside solving problems. The community doesn't end when you leave — we help facilitate ongoing conversation before and after the event.

Constructive

Everything we build together is practical and immediately actionable. You leave with real solutions you can implement in your ministry right away.

"The conflab model that allowed for real expertise to be engaged and shared was perfect. Not once did I find myself being talked at or unseen. This experience was intimate and wonderful."
