We've entered new era of ProjectYM events.

We believe that small is the new big, so this year ProjectYM is going all-in on small, cohort and conflab-based gatherings. During these 4-day events, youth ministers create solutions, dream up big ideas, and collaborate on innovative strategies. But bigger than any of that – they build community.

You've got three different event flavors to choose from, but there are few things that are true about all three options:

Community is our primary goal. While you will learn a lot during your four days with us, we hope your biggest takeaway from any ProjectYM event is the community you build.
Space is limited. All of our events are capped at 12-16 participants (depending on the event). This small size ensures you really get to know everyone, and that our team is able to serve and support you individually as well as alongside the rest of the group.
We believe in the fun. When you spend four days with us, you'll discover that while we do get to work during the day, our nights are all about fun, competition, and community.
We'll be in Chattanooga. Unless noted otherwise, all ProjectYM events are held at the new ProjectYM Mission Base in Chattanooga, TN.
(Almost) everything is included. Your registration covers the event, lodging, and most of your meals. You're only responsible for getting to Chattanooga and paying for your dinners.
Scholarship options are available. We try really hard to make sure all of our events are accessible to all leaders regardless of their financial means. If you need scholarship assistance to attend a ProjectYM event, please reach out to our team and we will do our best to help.

Masterclass

We took a semester-long college course and crammed it into four days. But don’t worry – it’s not theory-heavy or packed with abstract theology. We focus on the practical.

Each Masterclass combines interactive sessions, group conflabs, and honest conversations with other leaders. You’ll laugh, take notes, challenge assumptions, and leave with a notebook full of ideas you’re excited to try (and a crew of leaders to support you as you do).

It’s fast-paced and high-energy, but deeply grounded in what’s actually working in youth ministry today.

And the learning doesn’t stop when the Masterclass ends. You’ll be part of a live, virtual cohort that meets regularly to help you implement what you’ve learned and keep the momentum going.

Ministry Think Tank

Unlike our other events, Think Tanks aren’t centered around a topic – they’re built around who’s in the room. Each one is geared toward a specific audience: large parish youth ministers, middle school leaders, DREs, priests, and more.

It’s a space to bring your real questions, your half-baked ideas, and the ministry challenges you haven’t figured out yet.

There are no keynote speakers – just a few days surrounded by smart, experienced, passionate people who get it and genuinely want to help.

You’ll wrestle, dream, brainstorm, and challenge each other – then walk away with fresh clarity, renewed energy, and a stack of new ideas you actually want to try.

Thrive Intensive

A four-day deep dive for Catholic youth ministry leaders centered on a specific ministry focus – like Confirmation, Service & Justice, or Parent Ministry. We bring together leaders from across the country to wrestle with a shared challenge, explore new ideas, and collaboratively build a method, model, or strategy they can take back to their parish.

You won’t just be handed a model – you’ll help shape it. Thrive Intensives are collaborative by design. You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with other leaders, sharing what’s worked (and what hasn’t), and creating something that actually fits your context – and that you’re excited to implement.

After our time together, you’ll be part of a private Thrive Group where you can share updates, ask questions, and get real-time feedback from the rest of the crew as you put it all into practice.
